Lori Perlow is a communications consultant serving school districts throughout New Jersey. In her current role as Public Information Officer with Haddon Township School District Communications Consortium, she handles all facets of school communications including branding, communication planning, crisis communications, media relations, public relations, and website design support. In 2018, Lori played an integral role in launching the first school communications shared service in New Jersey in collaboration with the Camden County Educational Services Commission.
Prior to working at the Camden County Educational Services Commission, Lori was District Communications Officer/Community Liaison at Mercer County Technical School District for eight years. In this role, she was responsible for student recruitment, branding, email marketing, social media, website design, community partnerships, event planning, crisis communications and public relations.
Lori was one of four recipients of the 2017-2018 Front-Runner Award from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). NSPRA Front-Runners are identified by the NSPRA Executive Board as emerging leaders who are doing outstanding work for their schools, their chapters, and for NSPRA. Lori has won several NJSPRA School Communication Awards for her work in the areas of marketing/branding, social media and website design.
Lori is the National School Public Relations Association's Northeast Region Vice President and immediate past president of the New Jersey School Public Relations Association. Lori actively encourages New Jersey school districts to tell their stories utilizing proactive school communications. Lori presents locally and nationally on topics related to school communications, marketing and branding. Lori has been a featured guest on education podcasts and a contributor to blogs, professional publications and entrepreneurship education resources for youth.
