Lisa Schleer’s passion and knowledge for students with disabilities are unparalleled. She has dedicated her career to ensuring that all students with disabilities have access to high-quality instruction, curriculum, resources, and staffing. With over 25 years in education, Lisa began her career as an elementary special education teacher in the Albuquerque, New Mexico School District. After becoming an administrator in Connecticut, she served as a Director of Special Services for Hartford Public Schools. She then became the Director of Special Services for the Mount Olive School District in Morris County. She later served as the Executive Director of Personalized Learning and then as the Assistant Superintendent before joining Stages Learning.
Lisa joined Stages Learning in April 2022 and is the Vice President of Strategic Educational Partnerships. At Stages Learning, she brings her industry leadership, special education expertise, and fiscal management skills to her relationship-building strengths when working with school districts. Lisa also serves as the Board President for the Biondo Memorial Foundation, which sends over 400 children with disabilities to summer camp in Pike County, PA, and Sussex County, NJ.
Lisa’s background in education over the last twenty-eight years has fueled her passion for presenting on equity of access to high-quality curriculum and instruction for all students. She holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary and Special Education, a Master’s in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education, and an Ed Leadership Degree. She is finishing her doctorate in Higher Education Leadership on supporting Black or Hispanic low-socioeconomic students’ access to post-secondary education.
