Dr. Hughes is an experienced and accomplished district superintendent and former board member. He has attained his doctorate in educational leadership from Rutgers University and has served in leadership roles at all levels of education. Currently, he is serving as superintendent in Haworth School District, Bergen County. In his service as a board member, Dr. Hughes has achieved the designation of Certified Board Leader and served on his county leadership board for NJSBA.
