Rajneet Pimmi Goomer
(she/her)
Rajneet is an award-winning Director of Student Services and DEI Expert. Her 17+ year career in education and New Jersey public schools has been rooted in equity, diversity, and inclusion for students, families, and staff. Rajneet believes in supporting the whole child, including families and staff, as a cornerstone of ensuring a culture of belonging and providing equitable access and supports for all students to be successful.
Rajneet began her career in South Brunswick School District as a Speech-Language Specialist before transitioning to administration. She entered Robbinsville as the Supervisor of Student Services before taking on the Director of Student Services role a year later.
During her tenure in Robbinsville Rajneet was known for innovation in programming to support students including creating a therapy dog program, therapeutic supports, executive function, and literacy.
Rajneet’s passion extends to designing and leading ongoing professional development and workshops in a variety of areas including DE&I. She has presented in numerous venues including at the NJDOE’s annual State Conference for Equity, as well as for NJEA. In 2019, she was honored with the Mimi Ballard CANDO Award from ResearchILD for innovative, strategic planning and implementation. Rajneet is an empathetic and mission-driven leader dedicated to meaningful change. She is passionate about sharing her expertise and learning with others to help them thrive both personally and professionally.
Rajneet has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, both from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). She also holds a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University. Rajneet is excited to join the district and to continue the incredible work that is happening to support students, staff and families!
