Miss Nyquist, a Certified Board Member, has been a member of the Longhill Township BOE for 22 years. Presently she serves as the Chair of the Policy and Governance Committees, a member of the Building and Grounds Committee. and liaison to the Morris County Educational Services Commission serving as Vice-President of the Board of Trustees. Over the years, Miss Nyquist has worked on every committee either as the chair or a member and has chaired 4 superintendent search committees.
Miss Nyquist is retired after 28 years with a major telecommunications company. Having held positons in New York, New Jersey and Virginia, she worked in accounting, information systems development, product development and marketing, sales, strategic planning, building maintenance and production. A resident of Long Hill for 34 years, she has one son, 3 step-children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
