Peg Hanna is the Assistant Director overseeing the Air Monitoring and Mobile Source programs at NJDEP. In this capacity she oversees staff working on the State’s air quality monitoring network as well as staff that implement a variety of strategies to reduce emissions from transportation. She has been with the NJDEP for 30 years, focusing most recently on transforming the transportation sector to a zero carbon footprint. The first 15 years of her DEP tenure were spent in NJDEP’s Compliance and Enforcement program developing policies and regulations for stationary sources.
She received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Scranton.
