Profile

Dr. Seipp has served the Roxbury Public School learning community for over six years as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. During this time, he completed his doctoral studies at the University of South Carolina investigating the impact of application-based homework. Prior to his time in Roxbury, Dr. Seipp had the pleasure of supporting the learning communities in Mendham Borough and Westwood as Middle School Principal as well as a variety of other administrative responsibilities. Regardless of position, Dr. Seipp has consistently focused on the learning experience of students. This includes a careful examination of policies and practices that impact students directly and indirectly, such as the effectiveness of communication surrounding learning (grading), overarching curricula target goals (Transfer Goals), leveraging observation as a tool to improve learning, as well as inclusive practices.

Dr. Seipp also serves as the Morris Area Curriculum Network (MACN) President. Annually, the Executive Committee of MACN schedules high-quality professional learning for administration having had nationally renowned presenters over the past few years such as Jay McTighe, Thomas Guskey, Paul Riccomini, Jeff Selingo, Erik Francis, and LeeAnn Jung. The mission of MACN connects many educational leaders in Northern New Jersey by working to open lines of communication and share resources for the betterment of all students.
