Since 1996, VE has transformed the lives of 200,000+ young people by providing authentic business experiences in a low-risk learning environment that enables youth to develop the skills, knowledge, and dispositions necessary for fulfilling, financially secure futures.

WHY VE?

VE provides a solution for schools to offer all students meaningful skills-based career experiences. Through our hands-on, task-based curricula, aligned to the VE Career Readiness Framework, students test drive potential careers and develop in-demand skills and competencies that post-secondary institutions and employers are seeking. By managing the day-to-day operations of a company, students not only develop business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, they also identify career pathways that align with their interests, talents, and aspirations.

For High Schools

VE prepares students for successful futures by transforming classes into companies and bridging the divide between the classroom and the working world. VE is aligned to national academic and career and technical education standards (grades 9-12).

• Tech Apps for the Entrepreneur (offered in 9th or 10th grade)
• Virtual Enterprises (offered in 11th or 12th grade)

For Middle Schools

VE-JV middle school students develop technology, entrepreneurial, and work-based learning skills by starting and managing business ventures. VE-JV is aligned with standards for grades 7-8.
